It is an extra-wide-angle manual focus lens designed for APS-C crop sensor cameras.
With low distortion and wide angle (109.5°), this lens is perfect for photographers who want wide-angle photos such as landscapes and architectural images. F2.8 is very bright even under a relatively dark environment, meaning clear and vivid images can be captured.
The Optical construction of the Samyang 10mm F2.8 ED AS NCS CS features 14 lenses in 10 groups – among these lenses, there are 2 glass aspherical lenses (AS) and 1 low-dispersion glass (ED). With a minimum focal length of 0.24m. Also, for the first time in Samyang Optics history, the independent NCS (Nano Coating System) has been used. It creates even lower reflection rates than the original UMC (Ultra Multi Coating) and higher contrast. Also, the light penetration rate is very high to minimize flare and ghosting.
There are 6 aperture blades designed to be almost as a full circle when the aperture is closed which expresses starlike rays clearly and beautifully in deep depth of field images. The frame of Samyang 10mm F2.8 ED AS NCS CS is compact and solid as it is made of high-strength aluminum alloy. A petal-shaped lens hood to shelter the lens from unnecessary light is included.
109.5° Ultra Wide Angle
Ultra-wide angle allows photographers to capture the creative space beyond what meets the eye and portray an expanded sense of dimension.
With minimal spherical aberration and distortion, you can take pictures with incredible precision.
Nano Coating System
The nano-coating system minimizes flare and ghosting, resulting in crystal clear image quality.
Compact & Lightweight
The compact, lightweight build makes it the perfect choice when traveling.
Smooth Focus Ring
Smooth focusing ensures precise control and produces images with incredible sharpness, making it the ideal choice for indoor and night shooting.
